“Companies like ours need the very best expert advice and support we can get but it’s always a bonus when we can work with people we respect and trust. I have known Rob Harman for many years; we live in the same village and my daughter Sally went to school with Rob’s daughter Alice. As far as I am concerned not only is Rob a great accountant but like many of our partners I consider him a friend.”

What he does:
Rob has been in the corporate finance sector for an amazing 27 years and now
works for a company called Morris Owen. He enjoys working closely with
companies like Virtua and when he felt that their previous Accountant was not
giving them the best possible attention Rob stepped in to offer his services.
How he works:
Rob likes to work with visionary organisations like Virtua and likes to think
of himself as a mentor as much as an Accountant. He enjoys the buzz and the
banter at Virtua and in particular the fact that the directors will question
and challenge him which keeps him on his toes! He recognises that it can
sometimes be lonely at the top and that’s why he loves to support and help his
clients, working closely with them to define strategic direction and long term
objectives.
Who he is:
Rob is married to Lesley and has three daughters and an English Setter. Rob
enjoys family holidays in Devon and Cornwall or Brittany in France and is
particularly fond of canal boat holidays.
