SALES SUPPORT EXECUTIVE

We have an opportunity for a Sales Team Support Executive to join our Business Development and Commercial Team.

The post-holder will be responsible for providing pro-active support and administration for the front line sales and bid management teams. This will involve supporting the full sales life-cycle, taking the lead in identifying new tender prospects, while helping to keep the team organised and moving forward to help us achieve our sales goals. The post holder will also manage, update and track the prospects pipeline as well as weekly sales team calls etc.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with energy, enthusiasm, confidence and empathy for Virtua’s clients, capabilities, target markets and ambitious growth plans. Excellent interpersonal skill interpersonal and IT skills are essential.

This role is ideally suited to someone who has previous experience in sales/ business development environment and who is capable of organising and backing-up team members to ensure the effective functioning and management of the group.

Responsibilities Include:

Supporting good business development and sales outcomes by:

  • Managing and administering the range of tender alert services and sales navigator to identify opportunities for qualification.
  • Implementing, policing and maintaining the CRM system, account development plans and prospects pipeline.
  • Communicating with prospective and existing clients
  • Completing and submitting initial PQQ, Eol and RFI responses plus other support as required, for example, capability presentations.
  • Co-ordinating and ensuring effective team communications.
  • Working with others throughout the business and always evangelising the BD message.

Key relationships:

  • Business development, sales and bid management team members.
  • Stakeholders in the business at large, including the Senior Management Team.
  • Tender alert services and sources.
  • prospective and current clients.

 

  • Location: Head office in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
  • Reporting to: The Business Development Director
  • Salary £20-25K depending upon experience.

CHIEF ENGINEER
