While the country has been asked to stay at home as much as possible during these trying times, the need to stay connected has been greater than ever

As designated key workers, our office staff continue their work from home and our on site engineers are performing essential works for our customers.

Whether it be internet, cellular or broadcast, we are doing our utmost to ensure the UK stays connected and informed.

We continue to implement safety procedures to protect our staff, our customers and the public and review them continuously in line with government advice.

By working together with our customers and following government guidelines, we continue to do vital work while protecting our colleagues.

To help protect our staff some of the new procedures we have put into place include:

  • New update on our Dynamic Risk Assessment (DRA) App to include the Key information for COVID19 at the touch of a button
  • Our engineers have instant access to Key worker letters in case they need to prove their reasons for travel
  • Instant access to new policies and procedures from our customers or site providers
  • COVID19 specific risk assessments for engineers to complete for each work package and site attended
  • PPE packs issued to all operatives on the ground

We are all in this together and at Virtua we will continue to ensure the country stays connected for as long as we are safely able to.
