PROJECT
Virtua UK Ltd has partnered with Cellnex UK for several years, our works have involved strengthening activities on Cellnex UK structures throughout the UK.
We have recently undertaken strengthening work on Cellnex UK’s tower sites, like this site located in South Gloucestershire, near Bristol. This tower transmits cellular coverage for the local area; however, it is currently unsafe to climb due to corrosion on the tower legs.
SOLUTION
Our teams have been brought into design and install new strengthening on the tower. These come in the form of butterfly plates, secured in place with anchor rods.
BENEFIT
The install took 3 days to complete, and now finished the tower is now deemed structurally safe to climb.
