Maintaining the UK’s Communications Infrastructure
PROJECT
We have been working alongside our customer on various projects since 2017. This customer provides infrastructure consultancy, facilities management, property management, energy and healthcare services. The project requires around 150/200 individual site visits per month. In 2022 we completed nearly 1,700 sites and are on track to double that number for 2023. See examples of sites we have completed in the photos and videos opposite.
Our work with this customer mainly involves PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) Audits and Remedials. These sites are located both within cities and rural locations throughout the UK.
SOLUTION
PPM Audits
These PPM Audits ensure that the infrastructure on these sites conforms to all relevant requirements set out within the relevant PPM workbook. These activities include but not limited to, working at height, site audit collation, fire safety and FGAS. These site visits also include removal of vegetation and reporting back to client any visible issues we identify on site. All this information is captured on a specific app to ensure real time reporting.
Remedials
These are repair works, usually if any faults are found on site, our team are then asked to fix them. This can be anything from the fall arrest, cabin doors, bolts, wire guides and bottom/top anchor points.

By completing this work on behalf of our customer it means they are able to ensure the safety of their sites, and make sure all equipment if functional and up to date.
