RF Test & Commissioning Engineer

Location – Homebased but travel throughout the UK expected

Reporting to the relevant project manager you’ll be responsible for the RF testing & commissioning of our Broadcast and Telecoms installations including preparation of technical reports and results and associated inputs to site installation hand over packs.

Your background will be in the delivery of Broadcast and/or Telecoms installations, including climbing, with some capacity for testing and commissioning the RF components of the installation. Additional training will be provided on systems/technologies that Virtua is involved in installing and commissioning.

Key duties:

  • Test and commission RF installations.
  • Fault analysis using RF test equipment.
  • Use of a wide range of RF test equipment.
  • Generate RF test reports and HOP compliant inputs.
  • Climbing telecom and broadcast structures to test at height.
  • Maintain and support Virtua’s and Virtua’s customers QHSE policies and procedures.

Employment is on contract or permanent basis.  Training will be provided to enhance your basic skills.

Driver/Warehouse Assistant    

£18,000 – £20,000 per annum / Location: Banbury

We are looking for a delivery driver and someone to join our warehouse team and assist in the daily activities. This role directly assists the Warehouse Manager and is a physical role involving manual handling and heavy lifting.

Duties to include:

  • Loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • Assist with goods in – Checking deliveries against delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse manager.
  • Picking & packing orders for collection & dispatch
  • Process returns from site and put back in to stock.
  • Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the company’s procedures and requirements
  • Stock Counts, Annual stock take
  • Maintaining housekeeping to ensure a safe environment within the Warehouse.
  • To deliver goods nationwide in accordance with delivery instructions shown on delivery notes and as instructed by management.
  • To maintain vehicles in good condition and load vehicle correctly

Valid UK driving Licence  – 3.5t

This role will include early starts to ensure deliveries are made on time. Some overnight stays may be required when necessary.

The successful candidate will have a positive “can do” attitude.  Strong communication skills and IT literacy are essential.

Warehouse Assistant

  • Stock Taking
  • Packing and wrapping goods in such a way as to best utilise space and prevent stock damage
  • Maintaining housekeeping to ensure a safe environment within the Warehouse.
  • Assisting with local deliveries as required.

Must have a valid UK driving licence

Forklift experience preferable.

The successful candidate will have a positive “can do” attitude and a willingness to learn. Strong communication skills and IT literacy are essential.
